David Thompson helps leaders and teams around the world communicate with more clarity, creativity and confidence.
Drawing upon more than 25 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, executive coaching, training and facilitation, David helps his clients harness their personal and professional resources for outstanding performance.
David works with executives and teams from several organisations, including Alexander McQueen, Allen & Overy, Biogen, Bottega Veneta, International SOS, Kering, Latham & Watkins, PUMA, Pfizer, Saint Laurent, Whirlpool and many more.
As an Executive Coach, David has worked with more than 150 leaders around the world to help them achieve outstanding results. David also works with teams to help them communicate, collaborate and overcome obstacles to peak performance.
David has received Coach certification from The Coaching Academy and the Behavioural Coaching Institute. He is also a Master Practitioner and Certified Trainer of NLP. A member of the International Coaching Federation, David adheres the ICF code of ethics.
As a communications consultant, David helps clients discover, develop and deliver messages and stories that inspire action. David helps you distill complex information and ideas into clear, compelling copy. He provides guidance, feedback and encouragement to help you present your material with impact and influence.
David began his career with Ketchum in Washington, D. C. He later joined the agency’s offices in Munich and then in London, leading pan-European teams to support some of the firms largest accounts.
David established his own business in 2004 to provide communications counsel and professional development services.
In addition to his experience in corporate communications and executive coaching, David has worked as an actor, director and producer – with a focus on the plays of Shakespeare.
David incorporates his learning and experience from the world of theatre to help clients express themselves effectively and step fully into the different roles they play in their professional lives.
David holds a BA in English Literature from Davidson College in Davidson, NC and an MA in Shakespearean Theatre from the University of Essex.
